Lack of drains on road

We live at bottom of the road. 11 Kendal Ave. B46 1BJ. During heavy rain, it flows down and as our drive slopes down, (photo with cars on drive) it contributes to flooding our property. There's a drain on the other side of the road, (photo attached with drain) but none our side. (photo attached with no drain. It was lucky that we were at home this week, as we had to remove the rain water quickly from the garage with buckets, before it got into the rest of the house. We are worried it might beat us next time. We are desperate for your help. A drain outside our house please and any other solution/general advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
