Previously reported mud Spilage on nuneston road was not addressed, even after I chased the highways via the council numerous times. Today it caused consequent flooding to my property due to the drain being blocked with hardened mud. I expect a full investigation into the issue ASAP before further rainfall results in another costly flood & much distress. I also expect consideration to be made to the lack of drainage at the front of our property (owned by highways!) to more effectively drain surface rain water rather than encourage it to run from the road down to my house. I require advise on how to raise a damages claim with yourselves further to today’s incident. This could have been avoided if highways had addressed the initial issues reported relative to the mud spillage rather than just ignoring our complaint!
