Broken pavement at edge of tarmac. rocks and makes noise whenever car goes over it

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:22, Mon 8 June 2020

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2146579.

Loose/broken curb on edge of tarmac in front of Granville House (converted church) which makes quite a racket every time a car drives over it and it rocks. Hants County Council road repair crew were just on St Peter Street making repairs and I asked if they were going to fix the problem only to be told 'no mate, its not on our list'. When i asked them to report it or at least take picture of it and report to superiors when they returned to base they replied 'not our job mate' this is not good enough. now we will have to have them return and do what they could have done today. very frustratiing

  • Second time we have reported this crew came and made a repair on a totally different area to what I had reported. When I pointed out that this was not the issue I had initially reported and asked for them to fix the loose curb stone that was initially reported they said they couldnt do it without permission. I asked them to ask their superior and report it...perhaps take a picture and they told me that wasn't their job and they would not tell anyone about it. very poor servuce
