Large potholes/holes in the carriageway

As you can see from the photographs, not only are these potholes very long, they are also dangerously deep. These need recitifying as they are a danger to anyone or vehicle using the highway. They have also been in-situ for a long time without remedial work.

  • Potholes have for some days been showing yellow marks obviously for filling, but very few have been filled so far. Cycling along this narrow lane is hazardous with all these deep holes at the edges of the carriageway.

  • We are the Parish Council reporting this problem to LCC Highways. The issue still has not been sorted and remains a big problem. Please can this be investigated again and action be taken. It is an accident waiting to happen!
