Roadside danger outside of the Longhouse at Fyfield Wick.

Reported anonymously at 19:55, Saturday 30 May 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2135503.

Somebody ( I assume l not the council highways dept.) has driven metal 'rebar' spikes into the verge on both sides of the road and left them protruding by about 2'. As a cyclist and a motorcyclist I find this extremely worrying as this action could have long reaching and potentially fatal consequences for road users in the event of an accident. The spikes appeared sometime during lockdown and have been there for at least a month.
