Dog poo bin full and bags scattered around it

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2129498.

Obviously the local dog walkers either are not aware that they can report this issue , although I see someone did report it 5th May or they moan about it but are too lazy to do anything about it . I walked the footpath this morning and in the current circumstances people are out with their dogs far more frequently so it is inevitable the bin will very quickly overflow .

  • The main problem is that due to the number of people walking their dogs more frequently due to lockdown restrictions and furlough the bin fills much quicker , therefore local dog walkers should take responsibility for reporting the issue to the council or FixMyStreet before it overflows . I live two miles away and don’t have a dog and only notice the bin when I’m walking into Reading . I report many issues to FixMyStreet while I’m out and about , mostly fly tipping which has become a major problem across the country .
