Unmanaged trees on common land overgrowing neighbouring property

Sent to Test Valley Borough Council less than a minute later

Good evening

I have raised with you previously that two trees on the unmade land at the junction of Corunna Main and Colenzo Drive are not being actively managed and are oversized and causing issues to my premises which is adjacent. Two years on you have still not tended to these at all and they are now over growing my boundary on two sides at a height which cannot be safely reached.

In addition they have grown over street lighting on the approach to the junction reducing lighting. Also now due to the size of the trees I am regularly finding small barnacles and branch ends which have snapped off especially in high wind or on my driveway. These have caused minor damage to my vehicle and it is now at a point that these trees need to be removed or pollarded sufficiently to reduce their size and there spread.

Previously this matter was passed to HCC who declined to take any proactive action. Please can you take some responsibility for this matter and deal with accordingly.

Many thanks
