X2 pot holes over 50mm deep, southwest bound, between 2/3 Harborough Road
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Matthew Coe at 17:36, Wed 20 May 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2122964.
These pot holes have been ongoing and poorly repaired ,several times, since the contractor excavated 2 years ago. Large lorries hit these and cause very loud noise and vibration that shakes glass in my house at Number 1 Harborough Road from early morning (5am) all through the day into late evening (11pm) I feel the Builders contractor should be made to fully excavate and reinstate under inspection and not at the tax payers expense. THESE POTHOLES ARE OVER 50MM DEEP AND MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR A DEFECT For a pothole to be considered a safety defect it has to be at least 40mm deep but this is on our busiest roads. For more local roads, our intervention levels would start at a depth of 50mm.
