Owing to the closure of Constitution Street for the Edinburgh Trams Extension, Henderson Street has seen a significant increase in traffic.

Along Henderson Street (from Great Junction Street to Henderson Gardens) there are over four instaces where the road has began to sink and the setts have become dislodged.
