Potholes and vegetation encroachment

Reported in the Potholes category by John Gardner at 21:03, Sat 9 May 2020

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2110563.

When you approach junction 5 of the M27, using the A335 from Southampton the left hand lane as you reach the roundabout is part blocked by encroaching bushes and then when you move onto it to go west onto M27 the road is full of potholes. With light traffic and ongoing M27 roadworks figured these two could be sorted too whilst workmen and ladies in area.

  • I did get a call to say that the roundabout in that area was "planned" to be "shortly" resurfaced . The problem is that "shortly" in my book is "within two months" where as I sensed it could be "two years"...

  • I sense this will only be fixed as and when the M27 is duly completed which is Spring 2021...maybe, hopefully
