Conifers across path, set back from Pryors lane.

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:44, Thu 16 April 2020

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2089265.

There are a row of conifers obscuring the path. Anyone with a disabled buggy or pushchair would have to go up on the grass. They are not within the garden of the house they border, so not sure if they are the council's responsibility or Places for People.

Updates

  • The council have contacted the owners of the conifers, and told them to cut them back, but they haven't as yet.

  • The conifers are growing further across the path.

  • The conifers are also blocking the path to the side of the house aswell. There are many elderly people in the area who need to use the paths with disabled buggy's or walkers, and i cant believe that they have been asked to do it by the council, but obviously feel they need not bother!
