Fire damage and potentially toxic remains

Incident at underpass that runs under Petersfield Road, leading to Stockheath Road near Heron pub.

Shopping trolley (farmfoods) full of household waste that has been dumped in underpass, has been set fire to.

Acrid smell in underpass suggests possible toxic remnents from whatever was burnt on trolley. Additionally there is extensive damage to the underpass wall (that did have a murial painted on it) and also the lighting.

Updates

  • Trolley & burnt debris now removed.

    Repair work needed for fire damage to lighting and wall painted.
