Bag of soiled sewer wipes uncollected

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 11:25, Saturday 4 April 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxford City Council 4 minutes later

A bag of soiled sewer wipes was left for collection after the drain was cleared around a week ago. It has yet to be collected. It is in a grey bag with zip ties at the top, on the kerb opposite 42 nelson street. Thames water have also been contacted but as yet nothing has been done.

Updates

  • Unfortunately this isn't something that can be collected amongst the normal waste & recycling collections. Oxford Direct Services were not the ones who carried out the drain clearance, it seems this was carried out on a private property. If this was the case it would be down to the property owner to dispose of this waste. If Thames Water were the ones who carried out the drain clearance then it would be down to them to collect the waste. I apologize that we cannot help any further with this as we do not collect this type of waste.
