Broken manhole cover

A tractor has driven off the road to pass a vehicle and in doing so the weight of the tractor has broken the cover in two leaving a large gap and a deep hole. Whilst it may not be the responsibility of the council to repair the damage it may be prudent to pass it on to the relevant agency for them to repair it. This area is used a lot for vehicles to pull over to facilitate passing. It is also used by pedestrians to avoid traffic.
