Cross/Don't cross lights not fitted.
Reported in the General Fault category anonymously at 19:46, Monday 23 March 2020
Sent to TfL 4 minutes later
A232 West Wickham High Street, the pedestrian crossing outside the Natwest bank. The sign with the button to cross, says "Press button and wait for the sign opposite". But there is no sign opposite. When the traffic lights turn red and traffic stops, the buzzer for people who are sight impaired sounds, but the traffic lights cannot be seen by waiting pedestrians, and there is no indication for deaf people for when to cross. One attached picture shows the crossing mentioned and the other shows a nearby crossing on Croydon Road with the red and green man lights fitted. Shouldn't the High Street crossing also have these lights?
