Traffic light sequencing wrong

The sequencing of the traffic lights on the roundabout at parnwell way is not sensible.
The pedestrian crossing lights go to red at same time as the roundabout lights which means traffic is held at this point instead of the junction. This means it takes longer for traffic to move through the junction when they do turn green causing more of a backlog of traffic on parnwell way. It also means that because the queue begins further down the road that the traffic is being held at a different place on the road. All this means that there is more traffic being held behind my house on finchfield creating more traffic noise and pollution around my house.
In a city that wants to be environmental capital, you should want to create less idling traffic which creates pointless pollution and also keep that traffic away from residential areas where possible. However the changing of the sequence of these lights is creating the complete opposite effect. Please change them back to the main lights controlling the flow of traffic instead of the pedestrian crossing.
