Man idling engine across from #34 Bryanston Square

Reported in the Engine idling category anonymously at 11:47, Wednesday 4 March 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Westminster City Council 4 minutes later

A man and a woman were sitting in the red Audi with its engine idling next to the square, across from the mansion block at #34 Bryanston Square. I asked the man politely to switch off the engine while he waited. He got angry, started swearing at me, so I said I would report him for idling. At that point, he got out of the car and shouted expletives at me as I continued down Bryanston Square. He was still shouting as I neared the George Street end of Bryanston Square. Such odd behaviour? Why did he erupt with such anger at being reported for idling? What was he doing in the car?
