Street needs cleaning

Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 13:54, Tue 3 March 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2037364.

Beansheaf Terrace and Croft Terrace are part of the adopted public highway network and also form a well used public right of way. Despite this, the road doesn't seem to be on a rota for being swept or litter picked. Over the years residents try to clear the footpath and road of leaves and mud (it's overhung by lots of trees growing from the adjacent bank). We also litterpick from time to time as lots gets dropped by people walking through. But it's a big job and we're getting old. Please can the road be put on a regular cleaning rota? We'd also like to know if the double yellow lines can be reinstated, as the street regularly suffers from illegal parking.

  • Please don’t uproot the wild flowers and vegetables growing. Just litter pick and sweep.
