The rubbish collection in Paulton is a Monday. This morning Monday 2nd March at 8.40am which is the exact time of the start of the school day and when the whole of the children at Paulton infants and juniors arrive, the dustcart was directly outside and turning at the school gates! The road up to the gates is very narrow and congested always with parked cars and others arriving. Children have to walk the narrow pavement and cross either in front or behind the traffic and around the turning circle to access the gates to school . The dustcart comes up this road and turns at the circle with every child aged 4-11 within reaching distance of it! It is absolutely insane and the most dangerous/ frightening thing any parent/child has to witness and endure. It happens most Monday mornings at the same time and has done for a long time! Why on earth is Banes allowing this accident waiting to happen ! I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for the dustcart to collect at another road at this time would it?
Please please can this STOP today! It needs to STOP!!!! FOR OUR CHILDRENS SAFETY!
