I would like to report a fallen branch that is sticking out into the road. It took my wing mirror off on Sunday night, it was so dark and on a dangerous corner of the road that I did not see it. When I returned the following day to see if I could retrieve the casing (which was smashed) I noticed there were other wing mirrors on the ground, it would appear that I was not the only one to fall foul of the branch! This could be a serious hazard to cyclists.
The fallen branch juts out into the road just after Bishop Sutton in Sutton Wick opposite a drive leading to a few houses with a red letter box on the wall on the A368 on a bend and before New Manor Farm shop going towards West Harptree.
Hope this can be cleared up soon. If it has been already I am sorry to bother you.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs. V S Hemmings.
