Bin broken for over 2 years

Reported anonymously at 22:56, Tuesday 25 February 2020

Sent to Brighton and Hove City Council 4 minutes later

The bin at the corner of Foundry Street and North Road suffered a fire over two years ago and has not worked in all that time. The lid smashes down - waking up the neighbourhood at night. The soft close mechanism is broken and the foot pedal doesn't lift the lid very high. This has been reported at least three times by myself and also by other residents of Foundry Street to no avail.

  • Looks like the city has very little money if they cant even replace the soft close mech .. have you noticed how other reports in other citys the council has time to respond in Fixmystreet Brighton and hove council seem reluctant to close any case . wonder if they even read this sites output..
