Cars parking of grass area on Leeds United match days

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 11:48, Tue 25 February 2020

Sent to Leeds City Council 2 minutes later

I have posted this a parking issue but for me could be also in other multiple categories. Parks/ Landscapes Pavements / Footpaths Roads / Highways. I have had various exchanges now over several months with Parking Services, Highways, Leeds City Council, Local councellors, and also Local Housing authority. They are all aware of the problem and the damage being done but they all say nothing can be done! So driving and parking on grassed ares is allowed, driving over footpaths and putting the public in danger is allowed, damage to green fields is allowed, littering is allowed. Cottingley and surrounding area is bad enough on match days with traffic but then to cap it all to allow blatant damage to be caused is extraordinary. Even the police don't want to know. They say no laws are being broken! Look at the damage that is being caused and how irresponsible people are. there are signs in the area saying pick up dog Poo or you will be fined. So that is deemed more of a problem to deal with than the damage a the irresponsible parking. The photos only show minimal damage i have plenty more which will not upload. I know many other residents have complained but maybe we can join forces on here?
