Updates

  • I was cycling to work this morning along a marked cycle path and it was so Icey on the corner of Drayton road and Potenger way I slipped and fell off my bike narrowly missing the traffic - to add insult to injury the ground was so slippery I fell upon trying to get back up. This is a frequently used route by both cyclists and pedestrians, not some unknown shortcut!! Why on earth was it not gritted?? My injuries are painful enough for me to have to be assessed as soon as an appointment becomes available. And I will decide on the action I should take following any medical assessment. I dread to think what could have happened should that have been a child, pregnant woman or parent with a buggy. The weather in England is hardly surprising!!
