Excess drain water on footpath makes walking on path dangerous

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 14:59, Friday 21 February 2020

Sent to North Yorkshire County Council 3 minutes later

For years, a drain in Valley Gardens - top of Ebor Rise - on the right) - has water overflowing which then runs down two paths in the gardens, down Ebor Rise and into Cornwall Road. When the cold weather comes this water freezes and makes walking in his area hazardous. Fixing the faulty drain would solve problem and prevent needless injury and accidents. A cone is often placed on top of the drain but no attempt to fix the long term problem. Prevention is better than cure.
