Signpost leaning over and no destination (Trimingham RB 1)

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 18:48, Thu 20 February 2020

Sent to Norfolk County Council 3 minutes later

Wooden signpost leaning over. Also, the signpost does not contain any information about where the byway leads to - a required element of the highway authority's duty under Section 27(2)(b) of the Countryside Act 1968. In this case, the byway leads, decisively, to the stunning cliff-top, and now also to the statutory England Coast Path. It is unclear how it could possibly fail to be both "convenient and appropriate" for this information to be included on the signpost.
