Drain ALWAYS blocked on Beckenham Road

There is a drain in the gutter of Beckenham Road at the entrance of the slip road to 34 Beckenham Road (Links Group office) and the Spa car park. This drain cover is always blocked with dirt which in turn causes the road to flood when we have long periods of rain. The recent rains of storms Ciara and Dennis cause a great amount of water to spread across Beckenham Road and towards the Queens Road turning.
There are several problems: traffic Beckenham-bound doesn't know the depth of water or cause - so they avoid the "lake" and then have to drive on the oncoming lane (Penge-bound). This can cause traffic jams (at best) or careless/impatient driving. Queens Road is a frequently used route to avoid traffic towards Beckenham. So cars turning into Queens Road block through traffic which won't drive through the lake pedestrians get soaked if they pass by the lake, and the traffic does drive through the water eventually the road surface will be permanently damaged as the water stays for a long time
Given the frequency and intensity of winter rain storms (climate change is not going away), a better solution needs implementing for the efficient removal of water in this area.
This has been reported by myself and other members of the public many times over the years.
