The storm this weekend washed silt from the fields opposite my home into the gulleys and drains, causing blockage and preventing the storm water from draining away. Flooding of my home was only prevented by me quickly placing sandbags across the frontage during Saturday night, although any further rainfall may well result in flooding of my home. Please schedule a maintenance team to clean the gulleys and drains as a matter of urgency.
