On the left hand pavement in the direction towards the station a night club put their barriers out which completely blocks the pavement for pedestrians. Last night Saturday 8 February around 10pm as we walked from Oxford we had to walk in the road because the pavement was completely blocked by the barriers. It was a dark and wet night and we were forced to walk in the road. Does the night club have any authority to barricade the pavement and if they do an alternate safe route should be provided for pedestrians.

The pavement on Hythe Bridge Street is blocked at night by a night club which puts out barriers. Pedestrians are forced to walk in the road with their backs to the traffic. This is very dangerous. If they have permission to do this then a safe passage should be made for pedestrians.
