Manhole cover banging will break soon

The manhole cover as seen from bedroom window wakes the family all night as when the artic trucks travel through the noise actually rattles the house it's so loud. It won't be long before it breaks and causes an accident. It was replace a few years ago because of the same problem but has been progressively getting worse over the last 6 months until we now cannot continue with the interruption in the night.
