'Give Way' Sign hit by vehicle - Knocked Sideways

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 20:30, Tue 4 February 2020

Sent to Leicestershire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1979429.

The 'Give Way' road sign at this junction has been hit by a vehicle and knocked sideways. (It is the metal sign sited on the small triangular piece of land on approach to the main A46 junction - the prewarning sign a few metres before the actual give way lines).

The post is at 45 degrees and the concrete base knocked out of the ground. Damage is visible from the main A46 Northbound carriageway as you drive past the junction.

It is a busy and fast junction; the warning sign should be reinstated / corrected asap.
