Pedestrians in road ahead warning sign hit by vehicle again
Reported in the Sign problem category anonymously at 14:05, Sat 1 February 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1973074.
The 'pedestrians in road' warning sign on the verge was flattened by a vehicle early last year and has not been reinstated on this dangerous sharp bend. The previous 2 signs were also flattened as vehicles go off the road in exactly the same place. The bend also needs warning signs (e,g Chevrons Buckinghamshire side) just before this sign to stop vehicles going off the road. Very hazardous at night and in early morning mist & fog.

A new sign was reinstated around June 2019 as pedestrians had to walk in the road as verges not cut in summer months. A vehicle flattened the sign soon after and it still remains on the ground. I believe this was the second sign to be hit in 2019 as well as a number in earlier years.
