Not thought out Parking Restrictions

Reported in the Car Parks category anonymously at 08:42, Tue 28 January 2020

Sent to South Bucks District Council 4 minutes later

Parking restrictions have recently been. Employed throughout Richings Park without proper consideration of users of the station. Let’s be clear there is no Car Park in place yet. Therefore one should be provided before restrictions are bought into place. The areas that have been restricted now force commuters further into Richings Park blocking driveways and parking on yellow lines. The restrictions in place stop commuters from actually parking in Yellow Line areas which are completely legal and safe places to park, specifically the few spots currently restricted around the Bathurst walk and Syke Ings junction. It restrict road access. To make matters worse residents of Richings Park are double parking outside of their homes on the street when double and even triple driveways are completely at their disposal. These restrictions have not best been thought out especially considering the car park build date has been pushed back significantly. This proposed car park should have been put in place before the station was built, not after.
