Please note there is no menu category for tree tie maintenance so I have had to choose 'pruning' for FMS to accept my report.

Tree silver birch trees on pavement - rubber tree ties need removing as they are cutting into, restricting and will ultimately kill the new trees. I would normally just cut the ties myself, but the saplings are in a green mesh tree guard and the ties are tight. I see this regularly while out cycling or delivering. May I suggest that if trees are planted (very welcome) then a record is kept for an appointment later to loosen or remove the ties? Ditto fancy metal tree grilles at the base of new trees. Unmanaged ties and grilles ultimately kill the growing new trees!
