I am contacting you in regard to the pothole in Poverest road which i believe caused damage to my car on 17 January 2020. I was driving home around 17:15, it was dark and I didnt see the pothole until my nearside wheel hit the hole with an almighty thud. I got home and parked up my car.
The following day I got into my car and there was a dragging feeling coming from the side I had hit the hole. On inspection my husband noticed that the nearside wheel arch was lower than it should have been and that the spring on the front shock absorber had collasped, I was unable to drive the car.
I was without my car for a few days obviously as it needed to be repaired. I drove down Poverest road on 23 January to take photo's to attach to find the hole had been repaired.
I have visited the web site and have seen the pothole was reported 22 January. I look forward to hearing from you, as I forementioned I believe the damage to my car was a direct result of my car going into the pothole.
