Ongoing water leakage onto highway

Reported anonymously at 10:34, Tuesday 21 January 2020

Sent to Essex County Council and Harlow District Council 1 minute later

This problem has been ongoing for at least 5 years or more. It prevented completion of highway resurfacing many years ago and is steadily getting worse. Water issues from drainage culvert on a regular basis and flows down the road in copious amounts and across the carriageway. Until the drains were cleared in the dip by Cannons Brook it caused regular road flooding. It is a hazard especially when temperatures are sub zero. The problem has been ignored for years.

  • This problem has been ignored for years. Under the current conditions it will probably be years until it is fixed due to pressures on the local government departments.

  • No hope of rectification. Problem is continuously ignored. Even less hope now with C19 problems.
