Branches left on the verge

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 16:25, Mon 20 January 2020

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1950664.

The street light had become overgrown with branches, obscuring the light, someone has cut the trees back but left the branches on the brass verge/road edge, resulting in an untidy mess. I reported this to Oxfordshire Council, thinking that they were responsible for the street light through this means to be told: "This report is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. Please report directly to your District Council as they can collect garden waste."

Council ref: 1950664

Updates

  • The pile of cut off branches is still on the verge, a tractor driving over them when cutting the hedge has made it look less
