Pavement obstruction

This hazard was reported 3 days ago. A barrier had been placed across the damage to divert pedestrians. The barrier itself presented a hazard. TVBC has now visited the site and removed part of the barrier. The recent addition now introduces an extra hazard because at night pedestrians would fail to notice the impediment owing to the lack of lighting. Come on TVBC get a grip of yourselves and ensure that your staff and contractors complete their work to a satisfactory standard. I will continue to monitor this incident and keep my councillor appraised.
