Loose chipping on road

Reported anonymously at 11:05, Wednesday 15 January 2020

Sent to Argyll and Bute Council 5 minutes later

It's several months ago that East Clyde Street was surface dressed, and yet there's still loose chipping on the road surface and it's therefor thrown around hitting both cars and people on the pavement. A street cleaning machine is required to sweep the whole are several times, especially at the kerb and in the centre of the road.

It's NOT acceptable to get your car, or people damaged/injured by these flying missiles!!

  • They seem to have made one sweep along the kerbs, but of course only where cars wasn't parked so more is needed. Have lately been forced out in the centre of the road and that makes a hailstorm of stones flying. The pavements is also still full of small black stones.
