On approach to Handycross roadabout on the Wycombe Road (from Marlow), the traffic light signals in the morning last a maximum of 7-8 seconds only. This is because the traffic cannot move forward at the road is blocked in front from the previoud traffic which has already entered the roundabout and is waiting for the next set of lights on the rounabout to turn to green so they can move forward.
Simple fix is to stop traffic 2-3 seconds earlier from the previous light signal which will allow a smooth entry to the roundabout for the person entering from Wycombe Road. Then the automated signals will identify moving traffic and will stop cutting back to RED within 7-8 seconds.
Please do make this simple fix.
