Shogmoor Lane on the Skirmett section

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

Dear sir, I have written several letters by hand in the past but have never had a reply. Therefore, I am sending this by email to prove receipt and hope there will some action. Shogmoor Lane on the Skirmett section is in terrible disrepair. The drain adjacent to Hatchet Wood Farm loser gate has been blocked for years . We the locals have attempted to unblock it but it needs proper equipment. When the water spreads across the road cars and bikes can’t see the pot holes that the water covers and tyres get damaged plus it is a real hazard for cyclists. The sides of the road tarmac have worn away in many places . This is highly dangerous on a narrow road. As cars come along and meet cyclists who have to either dismount but if not enough time to do so get pushed into to dips. Such uneven gullies will lead to severe accidents as I can see cyclists loosing balance on the uneven surface and falling in front of a car. Please respond to this notice explaining when you will address these issues. They are now quite severe all along the Skirmett section of Shogmoor Lane. I look forward to your response. Regards Tony
