Dumping rubbish with no bin

Sent to Lewisham Borough Council 3 minutes later
Dear Sir, the perennial problem on the corner of Wellmeadow. Please could the council clear this up and send letters to all the 133 houses that they need to sort themselves out with the relevant bins and store them on their private property.

I am a resident of 133, this is not our rubbish! It is being dumped here by neighbouring houses. I am in the process of trying to do something about it but please understand that this is not our doing

The rubbish was strewn in bags all over the street this morning and the poor bin men were having to clear it up. The residents are getting better at storing the bins in the garden but one or two are still getting left out all week. On the whole it is getting a bit better but we need to keep up the work to keep the pavement clear. Someone is still just dumping black bags on that corner.

Still open, via questionnaire
Like I have mentioned before the bags in the street are left by neighbouring houses. I opened one of the bags and found things suggesting 118 wellmeadow is the culprit, this has been reported to the council but has not stopped them. The reason we leave a single bin out in the street is so whoever dumps the black bags can just put it in the bin rather than the pavement. Unfortunately this is not working.
Please accept my apologies for the mess and understand that I am trying to sort this out!
