Lack of street sweeping

The Eastern footway along A329 through Moulsford is part of the Thames Path National Trail and is walked by many thousand people each year. When I walked along here the other day during heavy rain I was frequently splashed by vehicles.... I noted that whilst many of the drains were not working properly (an issue I shall raise with OCC) an equal problem was the amount of debris along the channel which meant that much of the rainwater was being diverted away from the gullies and into the vehicle track. Could I ask that the kerbed section of the footway through the main part of the village be swept so that, combined with OCC fixing the gullies, the route will be much less unpleasant to traverse in poor weather?
