Dangerous parking near a roundabout

Reported in the Council car parks category anonymously at 08:00, Wed 8 January 2020

Sent to Charnwood Borough Council and Leicestershire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1924697.

There is a grass verge just off the roundabout on Nottingham Road where cars are now being parked not only is this dangerous it has completely ruined the verge. It started with one car about a year ago but it has recently escalated into the whole verge being used as a carpark

Updates

  • The council do not have the resources to fix grass verges and they wanted more photos of cars actually parked there to show how dangerous it is, I haven't been down there at night yet, but apparently parking just off a roundabout opposite an island crossing point is not deemed dangerous.
