Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 19:49, Wednesday 8 January 2020

Sent to West Sussex County Council 1 minute later

Surface of the A283 just approaching SBS flyover has been breaking up for some time. there are now several holes that, i believe, are DEEP enough for your criteria? i believe the law states that if my tyres are damaged, having reported these craters, i can claim off West Sussex???????????????????

  • West Sussex HIghways have no care for our tyres or possible accidents resulting in swerving to avoid the deep holes. I believe i am right in saying that once a hole has been 'flagged up' if there is subsequent damage to tyres they are liable........ wow that is a big risk for West Sussex Highways! we drive over/past those deep holes every day and it's like a chicane!!
