Cars parking around corners and drop kerbs

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 16:09, Tue 7 January 2020

Sent to Hull City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1923973.

Every evening and every weekend people are parking there vehicles accross junctions, around corners, across drop Kerbs. I am a severely disabled man who cant get home in my wheelchair safely. I am having to use the road instead of the pavement because I cant get past the cars to cross the roads at junctions. I had an ambulance called to my home and the ambulance could not get to my house because of the parking issues. The issues are on westcott street, from holderness road upto Marlowe street and streets crossing westcott street.

  • This has become a major issue around westcott street. I am a wheelchair user and after 4pm I cant use the public footpaths because car drivers are bumper to bumper around corners and drop kerbs are blocked, it's a disgrace nothing is being done about this issue. I needed an ambulance and it could not turn into my street because of these issues. These photos are taken the following morning.
