Large potholes that pool water in front of 39 The Green, Amport

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:32, Tue 7 January 2020

Sent to Hampshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1923180.

These potholes have been here for the last year since we moved in, but are particularly noticeable and problematic when it is wet. Water pools in an area used to pick-up and drop-off at the school. This prevents drainage and increases ground water. It also causes splashing, both of which increase moisture which is potentially devastating in this listed building made of local chalk cob that does not tolerates moisture.

  • No reply and no fix despite repairs occurring just a few house down that are nowhere near buildings at potential risk.
