Muddy footpath - needs clearing of leaves, branches, mud

Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 11:03, Tue 7 January 2020 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to West Oxfordshire District Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1923117.

WOD00184071 I have reported this to West oxon cc, but was told it is your responsibility: the footpath between Cadogan Park and Ocford Road in WOODSTOCK ox20 1uw needs clearing of leaves and branches which have turned into mud over the winter and the footpath used a lot by locals to walk into town becomes a slimy slippery mud path and thus quite dangerous.

Updates

  • This has become worse in recent days due to new greenery being chopped from adjacent houses and left in the pathway, and is worse since the tennis courts were resurfaced since considerable amounts of sand fall into the path. The path is currently pretty much unusable unless you are wearing wellingtons and are very stable on your feet- the lengths of ivy are a serious trip hazard. Disappointingly contractors who 'mended' some broken concrete further up the path by filling, unevenly, with tarmac, did not clear any of the pathway.
