I am surprised that this area has not been made safe especially with the gales forecast for the weekend. It is still a danger to pedestrians and road users alike.

This barrier has still not been fixed.

What does 'in progress' mean please as no actual physical work or repair has started on the barrier which still needs to be replaced and is on a crossing which is in constant use and moreover daily use during the school week by children to and from school. Please escalate the urgent need for repair. Thank You.

What does 'in progress' and 'no further action' actually mean here as, as far as I can see, absolutely no 'action' and no 'progress' has been made to repair this broken barrier for over a year now! What is the LBB timescale for repair, please?

Do we have a date for the repair work to commence yet, please? Badly in need of renewal and becoming more dangerous by the day.

Apologies for the ongoing delay in repairing these barriers. We have identified a supplier of these nonstandard barriers and are finalising Traffic Management plans for works at this busy location

I am updating this enquiry referring to the damaged post and rail reported at the central reservation in Croydon Road opposite Goddard Road.
Our contractors have informed LBB that the suppliers are due to despatch all materials within the next 10 days. Once delivery has been confirmed, the works will be planned with an estimated completion date of 10th October 2021.
Again we apologise for the time this has taken.

Our contractors have informed LBB that the bollard suppliers have contacted them to let them know that the order will be arriving later than originally projected. Unfortunately this will further delay these works. Once delivery has been confirmed, the works will be planned with an estimated completion date of 5th November 2021.’ We apologise for these delays
