Off lead dog attack in Abbey park

It is about time you did what Charnwood Council are doing and make it compulsory for all dogs to be on lead in parks.

Today, Sunday 5th Jan 2020 at approx 1.15pm, in Abbey Park, my on lead greyhound was attacked in 2 separate incidents by off lead dogs.

A Labrador with a young white male. Completely out of control, both the dog and the foul mouthed youth.

Then just afterwards an off lead staffy type dog ran at us and attacked my greyhound. The owner was an old Indian man with no lead who said she doesn't like other dogs!

Thankfully my hound is not physically injured but is very stressed and traumatised.

Please let me know when lead laws will be enforced in Abbey Park.
