Hig St Beckenham, sunken drain cover, bus stop by Beckenham Green Gulley metal drain grille sinking and tarmac around cracked and damaged. The pavement and highway were re-laid as part of the £4m Beckenham Town Centre 'Improvement' Scheme. Please fix and bill the contractors, as appropriate, for work or materials which has failed within a year of the scheme completion. This area by the bus stop is used by buses and other heavy vehicles.

  • For information, the order for this repair remains outstanding within our contractor's planned schedule of work. Further arrangements are currently being undertaken to provide traffic management and/or the necessary specialist equipment in order to undertake the works.
